Toastmasters Club is a worldwide organization.
One of the great benefits of Toastmasters is that we have a consistent system everywhere in the world.
We mainly have three sessions:
Formal Speech Session: Speakers prepare and present their speeches for 5-7 minutes.
Table Topics Speech Session: Members give impromptu speeches for 1-2 minutes.
Evaluation Session: Evaluators conduct evaluations of the speeches from the formal speech session for 2-3 minutes.
Since the meeting structure is standardized worldwide, you can easily fit in at any club anywhere in the world.
This time, I joined the Ocho Rios Titans Toastmasters Club in Jamaica.
Today's meeting theme was 'Fluid.'
They are so energetic! Today's MVP is the Table Topics Evaluator TM Oral.
During the meeting, his baby started crying. He needed to take care of his baby but managed to control the situation perfectly.
He carried his baby, showed everyone, and simultaneously completed his role as a table topics evaluator. He responded to challenging situations with flexibility, just like the theme 'Fluid' of this meeting. He is a true Toastmaster.
I felt the good vibes and the calm, friendly Jamaican spirit at the Ocho Rios Titans Toastmasters Club in Jamaica.
Let’s enjoy Toastmasters life!
Love & Respect,
Hiroki
