2月15日、定例会を行いました。
今回は、会場とオンラインで行うハイブリッド形式の定例会。
We had the regular meeting on Feb. 15, 2025.
This meeting was a hybrid meeting with both onsite and online participants.
二人のゲストをお迎えしました。
お一人はアメリカからオンラインで参加、もう一人は会場に来てくれました。
We welcomed two guests, one joined online from the USA and the other came to the venue.
レギュラーメンバーの参加がいつもより少なく、スピーチも2本だったため、本日の進行役がいつもと違うアクティビティーを用意。
その名も「ストーリーテリング」。
これが、最高に楽しいアクティビティとなりました。
Unfortunately, we had fewer members and only two speeches, but our Toastmaster for the day prepared a slightly different activity than usual.
The name of the activity was "Storytelling".
It turned out to be one of the funniest activities ever!
ここでは、4人一組となり、リレー形式でひとつのストーリーを作っていきます。
1人目がオリジナルのストーリーを始め、２人目、3人目は前の人が作ったストーリーを要約して新たにストーリー話を付け加える。
4人目は前3人のストーリーを要約して完結しなければなりません。
このアクティビティでは、「聞く力」「話す力」「想像力」が鍛えられます。
In this activity, a group of four people create a single story in a relay format.
The first person starts the story, then the second and third summarize the previous person's story and add their own.
The fourth person has to summarize the whole story and add a reasonable ending.
This activity develops our listening and speaking skills as well as imagination.
「女の子が犬を追いかける」ストーリーが、いつのまにか「メンバーがバレーボールをしている写真アルバムを懐かしむ」ストーリーにすり替わったり、「魔女」と「ゾンビ」と「ドラゴン」が入り混じる壮大なストーリーになったり。
笑いが巻き起こる楽しいセッションとなりました。
A story started with a girl chasing a dog and ended with her enjoying a photo album with a photo of our member playing volleyball.
Another story was like a spectacle film with a witch, zombies and a dragon!
We all had a hard time keeping our faces straight!
