Theme: World Festival

The 283rd regular meeting of Naniwa Toastmasters was held on April 19, 2025, with the vibrant theme "World Festival."

During the Table Topics session, both members and guests embraced the theme, sharing stories and reflections on their festival experiences, many were especially excited about attending EXPO 2025, a timely festival taking place in Osaka. The session was both fun and thought-provoking! With questions like “If you could create your own festival, what would it celebrate?” and “Which country’s festival would you love to attend?”, participants had the opportunity to think on their feet and speak from the heart. Some responses were hilarious, others deeply moving—all reflecting the rich diversity of global perspectives in our group.

In the Prepared Speeches session, we had three dynamic speakers who delivered speeches that were funny, informative, and emotionally touching.

This was followed by the Evaluation session, where our evaluators provided constructive and thoughtful feedback to help each speaker grow. A new member also took on the challenge of being an evaluator and gave a commendable performance. While there were still some challenges with time management, we continue to support one another as we learn and improve together.

2025年4月19日、なにわトーストマスターズクラブの第283回通常例会が「ワールド・フェスティバル」という華やかなテーマのもと開催されました。

テーブルトピックス（即興スピーチ）のセッションでは、メンバーとゲストがテーマに沿って自分たちのフェスティバル体験について語り合いました。

特に、大阪でまさに開催されるEXPO 2025への期待が高まりました。セッションは楽しく、かつ考えさせられる内容となりました。

「もし自分のフェスティバルを作るなら何を祝う？」や「どの国のフェスティバルに行ってみたい？」などの質問に対して、それぞれが即興で心からの意見を述べました。

ユーモアたっぷりの答えもあれば、深く感動的な回答もあり、グループの多様な国際的視点が表現されていました。

準備スピーチのセッションでは、ユーモラスで情報満載、感情に訴えかけるスピーチを披露した3人のスピーカーが登壇しました。

その後の論評セッションでは、各論評者が話し手の成長をサポートする建設的で丁寧なフィードバックを提供しました。

さらに、新メンバーが初めて論評に挑戦し、素晴らしい成果を挙げました。

時間管理についてはいくつか課題が残りましたが、互いに支え合い、共に学び成長を続けています。
