Before the COVID-19 pandemic, we only held meetings at Namba Citizen Learning Center. However, in the coming days, the Hybrid Meeting, which combines the enjoyment of being able to meet directly and the convenience of being able to participate from anywhere, will be in demand. 2月12日（土）、難波市民学習センターでハイブリッドミーティングが行われました。
難波に集まる会員と、自宅などのコンピューター参加する会員をオンラインでつないでするミーティングを、私たちはハイブリッドミーティングとよんでいます。
実は、今までも何度かハイブリッドミーティングをしようとしました。
ところが、コロナ状況の悪化やIT機器の扱いに不安があったため、実現できませんでした。
そして、ついに・・・皆に直接会いたい！そんな強い思いが昨日やっと叶いました。
はじめましての方々、そして懐かしい方々。
嬉しい思いがこみ上げて、みんなマスクをしていのに笑顔でいっぱいなのがわかりました。
オンラインではオーストラリアからYさんが参加してくれました。
フォーマルスピーチはS.Wさん１人だったのですが、全員がスピーチの評論をしたり、新しい会員の方々の質問にみんなが答えたり、いつもよりカジュアルで温かいミーティングをすることができました。オーストラリアのYさんにもテーブルトピックマスターをしていただき、たくさんのおもしろい質問をしていただきました。
コロナが流行する前は、難波市民学習センターだけでミーティングをやっていました。
でも、これからは、直接お会いできる楽しさと、どこからでも参加できる便利さのよいところを併せ持ったハイブリッドミーティングが求められる時代になっていくことでしょう。
ますます魅力あふれる「なにわトーストマスターズクラブ」にしていきたいと思います。
It's been so long! Emotional Hybrid Meeting
On Saturday, February 12th, we finally held a Hybrid Meeting at Namba Citizen Learning Center. We call a meeting that connects members who gather in Namba with members who participate from their computers at home and other places as a Hybrid Meeting.
Actually, we tried to have a Hybrid Meeting several times before. However, due to the bad situation with COVID-19 and anxiety about handling IT equipment, we were unable to make it happen. And finally... we all wanted to meet in person! That strong desire finally came true yesterday.
For those of you who are new members and those who are old friends. Even with masks on, it was obvious that everyone was filled with happy smiles.
From Australia, T. Y participated in the meeting online.
S.W was the only one who gave the formal speech, but everyone commented on the speech, answered questions from new members, and had a casual and warm meeting that was different from usual. T. Y from Australia also acted as the Table Topics Master and asked many interesting questions.
