Ingenuous Stories, Priceless Moments: Naniwa TMC's 297th Meeting

Today, at Naniwa TMC's 297th regular meeting, we once again enjoyed a fruitful and enjoyable session together with Naniwa Toastmasters Club. With the meeting theme “Priceless,” it was clear from start to finish that we again created another priceless memory as a team.

The Table Topics session was engaging, with members sharing their own interpretations of what is “priceless” to them. These impromptu speeches not only help us sharpen our public speaking skills but also allow us to understand each other on a deeper level.

There were 3 prepared speeches, including one delivered by a member who joined the club only a month ago. Each speech was filled with inspiration. Every person has only one life, with their own purposes, worries, and challenges. But when someone shares their story, their experience becomes ours as well. Through their "ingenuous"(*) expressions and honest reflections, we learn, grow, and feel inspired after every speech. And of course, the meeting was not only inspiring but also full of humor and laughter, as always.

At the end of the meeting, we held a special event - the Installation Ceremony for the new officers of the upcoming term (July 2026 – June 2027). Both the incoming and outgoing Presidents delivered heartfelt speeches, and everyone shared the same hope: to continue building a warm, supportive environment where we can all learn, grow, and share together.

本日、なにわトーストマスターズクラブ第297回例会が開催され、今回もなにわトーストマスターズクラブの皆さんとともに、実り多く楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。

今回の例会テーマは「Priceless（かけがえのないもの）」。例会の始まりから終わりまで、私たちはまた一つ、かけがえのない思い出をともに作り上げることができたと感じています。

テーブルトピックスセッションでは、参加者それぞれが「自分にとってのPricelessとは何か」について語りました。即興スピーチは、話す力を鍛えるだけでなく、お互いをより深く理解する機会にもなります。

準備スピーチは3本行われ、その中には入会してまだ1か月のメンバーによるスピーチもありました。どのスピーチも、多くの気づきと感動を与えてくれるものでした。

私たちは皆、それぞれ一度きりの人生を生きています。それぞれに目標があり、悩みがあり、乗り越えるべき課題があります。しかし、誰かが自分の物語を語るとき、その経験は聞く人たちの経験にもなります。スピーカーたちの率直で飾らない表現（Word of the Day: "ingenuous"）と誠実な振り返りを通して、私たちは学び、成長し、毎回新たな刺激を受けています。

そしてもちろん、この例会は感動だけではありません。いつものように、ユーモアと笑いにもあふれていました。

例会の最後には、2026年7月から2027年6月期の新役員就任式（Installation Ceremony）という特別なイベントが行われました。新旧両会長による心のこもったスピーチが披露され、参加者全員が同じ願いを共有しました。それは、これからも互いに支え合える温かい環境を築きながら、ともに学び、成長し、交流を続けていくことです。
