Osaka Sakai& Naniwa Joint Meeting on September 5th

Today, we visited Osaka Sakai Toastmasters Club and held a joint meeting.

We were also delighted to welcome AD, T, making the meeting even more lively and special.

The theme of the meeting was “Sister, Brother, Family!”

Usually, Osaka Sakai Toastmasters Club meets in Sakaihigashi, while Naniwa Toastmasters Club meets in Namba. However, today, members from both clubs shared the meeting roles and worked together to run the meeting.

Just like the theme of the day, “Family,” it was a warm and friendly meeting filled with smiles.

How is it possible for two different clubs to hold a joint meeting so smoothly?

Of course, it is thanks to the preparation and hard work of everyone involved. Another reason is that Toastmasters clubs around the world basically follow the same meeting format.

That is why we can hold joint meetings not only with clubs in Japan, but also with clubs in other countries. In the past, Naniwa Toastmasters Club has held joint meetings with clubs in the Philippines and the United States.

Joint meetings always give us new inspiration, learning opportunities, and wonderful connections.

本日は、大阪堺トーストマスターズクラブの会場にお邪魔し、ジョイントミーティングを行いました。

ADのTさんにもご参加いただき、いつにも増して華やかで、活気あふれる例会となりました。

今回のテーマは、「Sister, Brother, Family！」

普段は、大阪堺トーストマスターズクラブは堺東で、なにわトーストマスターズクラブは難波で、それぞれ例会を行っています。

しかし今日は、両クラブのメンバーが役割（ロール）を分け合い、協力してミーティングを進めました。まさにテーマの「Family」のように、和やかで笑顔あふれる素敵な例会になりました。

異なるクラブ同士で、どうしてこんなにスムーズにジョイントミーティングができるのでしょう？

もちろん、担当者の皆さんの準備と努力があってこそですが、世界中のトーストマスターズクラブが基本的に同じ形式で例会を行っていることも、その大きな理由の一つです。

だからこそ、日本国内だけでなく、海外のクラブともジョイントミーティングを行うことができます。なにわトーストマスターズクラブも、これまでにフィリピンやアメリカのクラブとジョイントミーティングを行ったことがあります。

ジョイントミーティングは、いつも私たちに新たな刺激や学び、そして素敵な出会いを与えてくれます。
