Southbay / USA Toastmasters Club との素晴らしい交流ができました。

<Naniwa Toastmasters 例会テーマは "Small Changes, Big Effect">

「小さな変化、大きな効果って、どういうこと？」

シンプルだけれど奥の深いテーマの下、Guest 参加のMさんが茨城県からOnline参加、また時差で現地時間21時から米国Southbay Toastmasters Clubから４名も参加頂きNaniwaの定例会を開催致しました。

VenueではToastmaser of the day に初挑戦のTI氏の緊張感も伝わる状況下、Hybrid形式で第293回の定例会がスタート、今回は米国との時差を考慮してFormal スピーチを３本実施、これに対する論評をSouthbay TMCに対応頂きました。 どんな評価をされるのか。。。ドキドキ。。。ちゃんとスピーチが伝わるかな。。。ハラハラ 結果は。。。。次のスピーチに繋がる、とても分かり易い評価を頂きました！！

休憩を挟んで、リラックスした気分でTable Topic Speech Sessionに突入、 ミラノ・コルティナの冬季オリンピックの話題になりました。 もしあなたがオリンピアなら、どんな競技に出たいですか？

どのようにオリンピックで感動しましたか、誰を応援していますか？

Word of the day の'' Trigger''を、どこで使うか、どのように使うか、皆さん苦戦しながら笑顔にあふれたTable Topic Speech Sessionでした。

"What exactly does 'small changes, big effect' mean?"

Under this simple yet profound theme, Guest participant M joined online from Ibaraki Prefecture. Additionally, considering the time difference, four members from the United States Southbay Toastmasters Club joined from 9 PM local time, allowing us to hold the Naniwa regular meeting.

At the venue, there was a palpable sense of tension as TM TI took on the role of Toastmaster of the Day for the first time. The 293rd regular meeting started in a hybrid format. Considering the time difference with the U.S., three formal speeches were delivered, and the evaluations were handled by Southbay TMC.

How would the speeches be evaluated? Would the speech come across properly?

The results... were very clear and easy-to-understand evaluations that connected perfectly to the next speech!

After a break, we transitioned into the Table Topic Speech Session in a relaxed atmosphere. The conversation turned to the Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina.

If you were an Olympian, which event would you like to compete in? How did the Olympics inspire you, and who are you cheering for?

During the Table Topic Speech Session, everyone struggled a bit but smiled as they figured out how and where to use the word of the day, "Trigger."
