12月20日なにわトーストマスターズクラブの例会

2025年12月20日、なにわトーストマスターズクラブのテーマは「Fun」。久しぶりに参加してくれた旧メンバー１人と、長期休会中だったメンバー１人を迎え、再会の喜びにあふれる例会となりました。お二人とも変わらず元気で、テーブルトピックセッションでの即興スピーチも相変わらず素晴らしく、テーマにふさわしい笑顔と笑いが広がりました。フォーマルスピーチは一人で、現代的な友達の作り方を扱った内容が印象的でした。本来はクラブコンテストの予定でしたが、コンテスタントが一人だったためコンテストは行わず、スピーチのお披露目とブラッシュアップの時間に変更。参加者全員で論評を行い、学びの深いセッションとなりました。その後は新しくなったPathwaysの説明があり、例会は無事終了。冬にしては暖かい一日で、今回はいつもの会場ではなく近くの会議室を利用しましたが、設備も整っていて快適でした。 「Fun」というテーマを通して、人と学びの楽しさ改めて実感できる例会でした。

The theme of our Naniwa Toastmasters Club meeting on December 20 was “Fun.”

We welcomed one former member and one member who had been on a long break, making the meeting a joyful reunion. Both were as energetic as ever, and their impromptu speeches in the Table Topics session were impressive, filling the room with smiles and laughter that perfectly matched the theme.

There was one prepared speech, focusing on modern ways of making friends. Although the meeting was originally planned as a club contest, the contest was canceled because there was only one contestant. Instead, the speech was presented as a showcase, and all participants gave evaluations, making it a meaningful and educational session.

Afterward, we had an explanation of the updated Pathways program, and the meeting ended smoothly. It was a warm day for winter, and although we used a nearby conference room instead of our usual venue, the facilities were comfortable. Overall, it was a meeting that truly reflected the spirit of “Fun” through learning and connection.
