The 295th Naniwa TMC Regular Meeting in Apr/2026

2026年の桜の時期は短ったですが、反面、桜の命の勢いを強く感じられました。４月の定例会のテーマは''the Next Chapter''で、新年度、新生活、新しくスタートを切る4月に相応しいテーマでした。会場参加２名、Online参加２名の多くのゲストの方々も参加して頂けましたし、何より嬉しかったのは約２年振りにNaniwa TMCの例会に参加され、Toastmaster of the dayを担って頂きましたTM AKの前向きな姿勢に感激しました。word of the day は、Transition (n) 新しいスタートを切って変化や進捗を俯瞰して見て行くことで今回の例会の中でたくさん使用して記憶に残しました。例会の前半のTable Topic SpeechではTM SYさんが新しい試みであるBiblio Battleを企画してくれました。そして例会の後半のFORMAL SPEECHでは TM JCさんが私達を宇宙旅行に連れて行ってくれましたし、TM NNBさんが自らの経験をユーモア一杯に共有頂きました。新しいことのスタートのタイミング、また変化の時期にあたる４月の例会で、たくさんの発見があり、多くを学ぶことができました。

The cherry blossom season in 2026 was short, but on the other hand, we could strongly feel the vitality of the cherry blossoms' life. The theme of the April regular meeting was 'the Next Chapter,' which was a fitting theme for April, a month of a new fiscal year, new lives, and new beginnings. We had two participants attending in person and two online participants, and many guests joined us as well. What made me the happiest, above all, was being moved by TM AK's positive attitude, as he participated in a Naniwa TMC regular meeting for the first time in about two years and took on the role of Toastmaster of the Day. The word of the day was 'Transition (n)', which we used frequently during the meeting to discuss new beginnings and to reflect on changes and progress, leaving a lasting impression. In the first half of the meeting during the Table Topic Speech, TM SY organized a new initiative called Biblio Battle. In the second half of the meeting during the FORMAL SPEECH, TM JC took us on a journey through space, and TM NNB shared their personal experiences full of humor. In the April meeting, which corresponded to the timing of starting new things and periods of change, we made many discoveries and were able to learn a lot.
